TCU guard Desmond Bane was named the Big 12 Player of the Week for his performances in wins for the Horned Frogs over Oklahoma State and Iowa State, the conference announced on Monday.
Bane tied a season-high mark with 26 points in TCU's home win vs. the Cowboys on Wednesday -- game which was decided by a short floater by J.D. Miller at the buzzer -- before following up with 17 points vs. the Cyclones on Saturday in Ames.
