TCU forward Kouat Noi has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning.
Noi, a 6-7 sophomore from Newcastle, Australia, averaged 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds across the Horned Frogs' victories over Texas and Florida last week. He recorded 15 points against the Longhorns before dropping 22 points -- including a trio of three-pointers -- vs. Florida in the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Saturday. Noi's 11 rebounds vs. Texas also gave him the first double-double of his career.
Noi's honor comes a week after the forward was battling flu-like conditions.
