Saying that TCU’s 2016 season was disappointing would be an understatement.
The Horned Frogs won 23 games, a conference championship and two bowls in seasons prior, not to mention finishing within the top 10 of the AP Poll, twice.
Personnel turnover and injuries brought that momentum to a screeching halt. The Frogs went 6-6 during the regular season, falling to Georgia in the Liberty Bowl.
TCU’s highly talented group underachieved and struggled to put it all together. Three of the Frogs’ seven losses were by a combined margin of only 12 points.
Expectations are greater for TCU in 2017, with the Frogs looking to bounce back from only their third losing season under head coach Gary Patterson.
