Of all the games he has played at Amon G. Carter Stadium, two that stick out for TCU senior Ranthony Texada are from his freshman year — the wins against Oklahoma and Kansas State.
Friday’s game against Baylor may be the most memorable for his family, however.
It will match the Horned Frogs’ cornerback against his younger brother, Raleigh Texada, a freshman cornerback for Baylor, in their first meeting on the same field in college in their last chance to do so.
“He’s been through a lot since he’s been at Baylor already, coming off an injury and stuff,” Texada said.
