If it’s not one thing its another. The last Big 12 series we played against Oklahoma, we scored at will, but couldn’t get much done on the mound. Today, we got great pitching from Lodolo, and got eight hits, but our two best relief pitchers both threw at least 20 pitches in the eighth inning. That’s not a recipe for winning baseball.
And that’s how it’s been with this team. So much so that Schlossnalge actually mentioned it today during his mid-game dugout interview. This team hasn’t put together a solid three or four games of baseball all year long.
