TCU’s bats suffered through the same road struggles we saw earlier this season, but Janczak’s performance on the mound kept them in it long enough for the Frogs to break through. Just two weeks after carrying a perfect game into the eighth inning against Kansas, Janczak was perfect through six tonight against K-State. He ended up throwing a shutout though nine innings, allowing just two hits with one walk and seven strikeouts in a no decision.
K-State’s Heskett was a near match for Janczak, keeping the game knotted at zero through his seven innings of work. He allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out seven.
