These Frogs apparently didn't get enough extra-innings excitement this weekend. For the second time in their last three games, TCU battled past the end of the ninth inning and came out victorious.
With Mitchell Traver out of action, Dalton Horton rose to the occasion against DBU. Last year, as a freshman, Horton blazed to a 7-0 record through the first two months of the season, but struggled towards the end of the year, falling out of the starting rotation. On Tuesday night he put together four innings of work, allowing just one run on two hits. He had one walk and eight strikeouts, throwing a total of 67 pitches.
