In a move that is difficult for both sides, redshirt freshman Isaiah Chambers announced his decision to leave TCU in order to be closer to home and a sick family member.

TCU fans will be disappointed in never having the chance to see the 6’4”, 260 pound defensive end in action, though understanding that he needs to do the right thing for his family. Chambers redshirted in his first year on campus, but was expected to play a significant role in 2017, with several members of the defensive line graduating after last year and fellow freshman Brandon Bowen out for the year due to injury.
