PHOENIX -- Going into his 17th full season as TCU’s head coach, Gary Patterson isn’t lacking for accomplishments.
He’s posted 10 seasons with double-figure wins. TCU has posted nine bowls in Patterson’s 17 years, including the Rose Bowl victory over Wisconsin. There’s even a statue of Patterson on campus.
But he goes into this season coming off a rare losing season and has been open about wanting to be more physical on both sides of the line and improving an offense that finished seventh in the Big 12.
He sat down during Big 12 spring meetings in Phoenix for a question-and-answer session last week:
