TCU basketball lands another big-time commitment

TCU basketball got another big-time commitment on Monday.

Mickey Pearson, a 6-foot-7 forward out of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, announced his intentions to play for the Frogs on Twitter, less than 24 hours after Xavier transfer Keonte Kennedy committed to the program.

Pearson, who originally signed with Saint Louis University as part of the 2018 class before opting to go the prep school route last season, will be eligible to play next season as a freshman. Kennedy has to sit out next season, perr NCAA transfer rules.

But Pearson will provide much-needed depth inside with the loss of forwards JD Miller (graduation) and Kouat Noi (going pro).
