The Frogs came out hot tonight. After Texas put one on the board in the top of the first, TCU opened up the bottom of the inning with a lead-off double by Wade. Wanhanen put two on when he was hit by a pitch and after a strikeout by Baker, Skoug walked and Warner singled to score two and put TCU up 2-1 in the first.
Merrill worked a one out walk in the second, followed by another double from Wade. Wanhanen struck out in the next at bat, but a double from Baker scored two and a two-run homer from Skoug made it 6-1 TCU.
