The most successful baseball coach in TCU’s history is often credited for his good works off the field as much as his winning ways on it, and he will add another accolade in January when he accepts the C Victor Thornton Humanitarian Award in a ceremony in Fort Worth.

Victor Thornton Humanitarian Award is given periodically by Fort Worth's Moslah Shriners to honor individuals from the North Texas area to recognize them for their outstanding work in aiding children in need.
