TCU track star Scotty Newton can really fly.
The recent graduate has made his mark leaping through the air, starring for the Horned Frogs in both the triple and long jump events over the course of his four year career in Fort Worth.
A Bakersfield, CA native, Newton came to TCU as an all-state medalist in both events, with high school PRs in the Long Jump PR of 24’ 2”/7.37 m and Triple Jump PR of 49’ 8”/15.14 m. He would go on to smash those marks over the next few seasons, setting a best of 25-5.
