The TCU women’s basketball team maintained its offensive rhythm after a week off and crushed Northwestern State 89-51 on Sunday afternoon at Schollmaier Arena.
The Horned Frogs (8-2) flaunted their bench’s firepower against the Demons (4-6), with the reserves racking up 52 points and 23 rebounds. Amy Okonkwo led the charge with 19 points and a career-high five steals.
Depth shined as every TCU player earned at least 13 minutes. Jordan Moore led the starters with 18 points and eight rebounds, while sophomore Adeola Akomolafe took advantage of extra minutes to record 12 points and seven rebounds.
