Report: TCU football to hire former Oklahoma All-American Malcolm Kelly as outside WRs coach

A new addition is on its way for TCU football's coaching staff.

Former Oklahoma All-American wide receiver Malcolm Kelly is set to be hired as the Horned Frogs' new outside wide receivers coach, per a report from 247Sports' Jeremy Clark. The hiring is expected to be official by Thursday, according to Clark.

Kelly, 32, spent the past two seasons as a graduate assistant at Houston. The Cougars went a combined 15-10 during his time under former head coach Major Applewhite.

Prior to coaching, Kelly, who hails from Longview, played at Oklahoma from 2005-2007 -- leading the Sooners in receptions and receiving yards as a true freshman -- before declaring early for 2008 NFL Draft.
