Report: TCU assistant, former UT-Arlington coach Scott Cross to be named head coach at Troy

TCU men's basketball assistant and former UT-Arlington head coach Scott Cross is reportedly on the move.

Per WFSA 12 News' Justin McNelley, Cross is set to be named the next head coach for Troy men's basketball.

Cross, 44, is in his first season on TCU's staff. He spent 12 seasons as head coach at UT-Arlington, garnering an overall 225-161 record before he was fired on March 26, 2018, despite fresh-off leading the Mavericks to a 21-13 record during the 2017-18 season.
