Former TCU men's basketball forward Kendric Davis is reportedly headed to the other side of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Per CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, Davis will transfer to area-rival SMU after spending one season playing under Jamie Dixon in Fort Worth. Davis previously announced on June 3 that he would not return to TCU next season.
Davis, a former 247Sports three-star prospect who hails from Houston, played in all 37 games for TCU as a true freshman during the 2018-19 season, including two starts. He quickly became among the fan favorites, averaging 6.3 points and 2 assists per game for the Horned Frogs.
