WACO, Texas -- Jalen Reagor turned a short pass into a 65-yard score and later had a 37-yard touchdown on a fourth-and-1 reverse run as TCU beat Baylor 16-9 on Saturday, keeping the Bears from reaching bowl eligibility in their home finale.
TCU (5-6, 3-5 Big 12), which had another starting quarterback get hurt, can get to a bowl for the 16th time in coach Gary Patterson's 18 seasons with a win at home next Saturday against Oklahoma State.
Fifth-year senior Grayson Muehlstein had completed only one pass in his seven career games for TCU before starter Michael Collins left the game with a right ankle injury late in the first quarter.
