After a season that saw them miss the postseason completely after making it all the way to Omaha the four years prior, expectations around the Big 12 are understandably lower for TCU this spring. That sentiment was reflected in this week’s release of the preseason All-Conference team, a lineup that features just one Horned Frog.
That player, though, is one of the more decorated on the TCU pitching staff, junior left-hander Nick Lodolo. After going 7-4 with a 4.32 ERA while posting 93 strikeouts in 77 innings, Lodolo is expected to be the Frogs’ ace in his third year.
