NFL Hall of Famer and TCU legend LaDainian Tomlinson, on hand for DeSoto-Cedar Hill game, talks high school football

LaDainian Tomlinson, the former TCU star who last month was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, was out at the DeSoto-Cedar Hill football game Friday.

Why?

Well, he was there because of his partnership with the National Peanut Board, which selected the DeSoto-Cedar Hill matchup as its first ever Peanut Bowl game. (I'm not really sure how this game was selected, but the important point was that Tomlinson was at the game.)

Tomlinson, who was born in Rosebud, played high school football at Waco University and then starred at TCU from 1997 to 2000, surprised the DeSoto and Cedar Hill players before the game with a pep talk.
