TCU football won its fourth consecutive meeting in its rivalry series with Baylor on Saturday, squeezing past the Bears for a low-scoring 16-9 victory at McLane Stadium in Waco.
The triumph marked just the second road win of the season for the Horned Frogs (5-6, 3-5 Big 12) and kept their bowl hopes alive heading into the final weekend of the regular season. TCU will clinch bowl eligibility if the Horned Frogs prevail in their season-finale vs. Oklahoma State in Fort Worth on Nov. 24.
Regardless of the ultimate outcome of TCU's season, however, there was a sense of satisfaction for TCU fans and players on Saturday that could only come from beating an arch-rival on the road.
