TCU football, decimated by injuries all season, completed its late-season rally on Saturday night to achieve bowl-eligibility with a 31-24 victory over Oklahoma State at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth.
The Horned Frogs ended the regular season with three wins in their final four games as wide receiver Jalen Reagor extended his streak of games with a touchdown catch to a TCU-record seven straight games. The sophomore toppled the 1,000 yard mark in receiving yards for the year as he caught for 91 yards in the win while rushing for additional 121.
With third string quarterback Grayson Muehlstein making his first ever start for TCU, the Horned Frogs avoided what would have been just the time in head coach Gary Patterson's 18 year tenure that the team failed to make a bowl game.
