The Horned Frogs got some good news Friday, when sources confirmed that both Marcel Brooks and Dylan Horton had their waivers approved and will be eligible to compete in the 2020 season.
Brooks, a former 5* recruit who transferred from LSU this summer, is expected to play linebacker for the Frogs, and is likely to start alongside senior Garret Wallow. Standing 6’2” and clocking in at 205 pounds, the superb athlete played in 11 games last season for the national champs, recording eight tackles and 1.5 sacks. Originally from Fort Worth, Brooks attended Marcus High School before signing with the Tigers as the #2 prospect at his position.
