Making sense of TCU's 2015-16 season, from a surprising win over Texas to the firing of Trent Johnson

TCU's basketball season is officially over at 12-21 on the year and a fourth consecutive campaign that ended with no bid to any postseason tournament.

Head coach Trent Johnson already lost his job which pretty much sums the season up as a failure. But there were three highlights to the season, as well as three major lowlights, that 2015-16 should be remembered for.

Highlights

1. The emergence of Chauncey Collins. The sophomore guard proved that he can be the guy capable of leading TCU if he is ever given a chance. Collins shot mostly in bulk so the percentages aren't great but despite defenses keying in on him he lead the team with 12.
