It looks like it’s really happening, folks.
On his Tuesday media call, Gary Patterson confirmed that every member of the TCU Football program had tested negative for COVID on Sunday, giving us a great shot of seeing Frog Football for the first time this fall on Saturday. TCU will kick-off the 2020 campaign in an unusual way, going straight to conference play after being forced to “reschedule” the planned opener against SMU (well, planned in the sense that it was the last chance to play a non-conference team before Big 12 play, after Cal cancelled the original opener, a rescheduled opener at UNLV was shelved, and Tennessee Tech back out of a trip to Fort Worth due to COVID concerns).
