Keller guard R.J. Nembhard announced on Twitter on Thursday that he has committed to play basketball at TCU.
The 6-4, 180-pound Nembhard is ranked the 66th-best recruit in the nation in the Class of 2017 by Rivals.com. As a junior, Nembhard averaged 20.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and was the District 5-6A MVP and a third-team All-Area selection.
Nembhard also had offers from Baylor, California, Creighton, Kansas State, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas A&M, Texas, Virginia Tech, New Mexico and Louisiana Tech, according to Rivals.
