Jeremy Modkins Promoted to CB Coach

In a move that makes a ton of sense, TCU defensive analyst Jeremy Modkins has been promoted to cornerbacks coach. The news was first reported by football scoop, but Modkins didn’t waste any time updating his twitter bio:

Modkins played for Gary Patterson and TCU from 2001-2005 at free safety, and had a standout season in 2003 when he was second on the team with 99 tackles and had two of his five career INTs. Modkins, who chose TCU over offers from Texas A&M, Texas, and Baylor, joined his brother Curtis in Fort Worth, who was a standout running back before taking a GA position at Georgia Tech.
