Jake Arrieta is moving to the City of Brotherly Love. After a loooooooong off-season, the free agent announced his move today on Twitter. The contract is reportedly worth $75 million over 3 years. Arrieta will make $30 million in the first year, $25 million in the second year, and $20 million in the third year, with the ability to opt out after 2019. Philly can exercise a 2-year extension, making the contract 5 years, with a total value of $135 million.
Arrieta played for the Chicago Cubs sine 2013, when he was traded by Baltimore.
