In a game that was disappointing from start to finish, the TCU Horned Frogs lost 31-16 at Texas Saturday to fall to 0-1 in Big 12 play.
TCU could never get the offense going and committed turnovers at the worst possible times. Shawn Robinson threw two picks and fumbled once. The TCU defense was mostly fine, but did not force a turnover from the Longhorns and allowed crucial big plays from Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger to his wide receivers all game.
The Frogs finished with 372 yards of total offense compared to Texas’ 369. That slight offensive advantage was wiped out by four TCU turnovers.
