Gary Patterson’s foundation was recognized this week.
The Gary Patterson Foundation earned recognition this week, receiving the 2019 Texas Library Association Benefactor Award.
The foundation, created by TCU’s longtime football coach Gary Patterson and his wife Kelsey, awarded $325,000 in grants to 38 elementary school libraries in the Fort Worth independent school district.
Kelsey Patterson wrote on her Twitter account, “We are so thankful to everyone who helped make this wonderful award a reality! We are excited to continue the Launch Into Literacy campaign through the @GPattersonFnd to improve #LITERACY in FORT WORTH!
