Incoming freshman point guard Francisco Farabello will get some extra work in prior to arriving in Fort Worth later this summer, as the future Frog will represent Argentina at the FIBA U19 World Cup, June 29 – July 7 in Crete, Greece.
A 6’2” guard, Farabello hails from Canada de Gomez, Argentina. This is not his first international competition, as he played for his home country in the FIBA U18 Americas Championship last year. During that tournament, he averaged 8.3 points, 5.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds a game. Farabello also participated in Basketball Without Borders Americas 2017 in Nassau, Bahamas and the Basketball Without Borders Global Camp at NBA All-Star 2018 in Los Angeles.
