As injuries have piled up for TCU men's basketball over the course of the 2018-19 season, the Horned Frogs have been forced to get creative when it comes to depth. Walk-on Owen Aschieris -- a member of the women's practice squad just last year -- has even made his way to being placed on scholarship as of January.
While it's not uncharted territory for his staff, Dixon remarked on Thursday that the team is regularly on the lookout for undiscovered talent during intramural contests -- something that has come to light perhaps more so this season compared to years past.
