South Grand Prairie safety Atanza Vongor, a top 50 player nationally and the top safety in Texas, chose TCU Saturday morning over finalists Baylor and Texas, and from 20 offers overall. Vongor, who drew interest from some of the top programs in the country, including Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, and Wisconsin, as well as every major program in his home state, made it a priority to stay in Texas, narrowing his list to the three local schools.
