Jake Arrieta (P/Chicago Cubs) – Arrieta faced the Pirates on the road on September 4. The Pirates struck early with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 1st. In the bottom of the 3rd, Arrieta allowed a second home run. Two batters later, he was clearly in pain. He tried to stretch his right leg and attempted a warm-up pitch, but pulled up. He had to leave the game. (I apologize for the sound quality of this video, but it’s the only one that shows everything)
Jake didn’t seem too concerned about the injury immediately after the game.
