A former TCU football player has sued the university, coach Gary Patterson and key former and current school employees for forcing him to play through an injury.
Kolby Listenbee, a former Horned Frogs wide receiver, filed a lawsuit in Dallas County on Wednesday and stated that Patterson and others were negligent in dealing with an injury Listenbee he suffered in September 2015 against LSU. Court records indicate Listenbee is seeking more than $1,000,000 in damages.
Patterson, former TCU athletic director Chris Del Conte, former co-offensive coordinator Doug Meacham and the Big 12 were listed among the defendants in the lawsuit.
