TCU sprinter Horatio Porter and All-American defensive lineman for Arkansas Dick Bumpas, who was the defensive coordinator at TCU for 10 seasons, join seven others in the 2017 class, which is sponsored by the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
Bumpas retired in 2015 after 40 years of coaching. He was an All-American defensive tackle for Arkansas in 1970. TCU led the nation in total defense under Bumpas from 2008-10.
