Jim Schlossnagles’ coaching tree continues to blossom, and his latest bloom is now a Cougar.
Former TCU Baseball great Kyle Winkler, who spent this past season as a graduate assistant with the program while he finished his degree, has taken a position as a volunteer assistant with The University of Houston. There, he will work as a member of Todd Whitting’s staff, who spent seven seasons at TCU prior to taking over his alma mater in 2011.
Winkler was a three year player for Jim Schlossnagle at TCU, earning all-conference honors twice, All-American honors once, and played on team USA.
