LANCASTER -- The thought of being on the other end of passes thrown by Shawn Robinson brings a smile to the face of Omar Manning. The highly sought-after receiver officially became Robinson's future teammate when he signed with TCU on Wednesday.
"I played with him in an all-star game,'' the 6-3, 205-pound Manning said. "He can put the ball right there.''
Robinson, who led DeSoto to an undefeated 2016 season and the Class 6A Division II state championship, is already enrolled at TCU.
Manning had 45 catches for 742 yards and eight touchdowns last fall. He chose TCU over suitors that included Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Washington.
