If TCU men's basketball fans hadn't already breathed a heavy sigh of relief after an unnerving first week of April, they can officially do so now.
Head coach Jamie Dixon reaffirmed his commitment to the program in a statement Tuesday morning, days removed from a saga in which Dixon was reportedly on the brink of leaving his alma mater for UCLA before ultimately deciding to stay put in Fort Worth.
Dixon, who was mum on the matter last week after he was reported to be a top candidate for the UCLA job, broke his silence on the matter with Tuesday's statement -- admitting that a return to his childhood home of Los Angeles had appeal, though he ultimately stayed true to his commitment with his alma mater after careful thought.
