Two weeks ago, Desmond Bane went scoreless in the first half of back to back games, games that the Horned Frogs would go on to lose by a combined 45 points.
After the loss at Baylor, when asked about his lack of early offense, he responded “We have a bunch of guys who can score, but we have been down the last two halves and I didn’t score... maybe I do need to be a little more aggressive. But we will continue to do what we’ve been doing all year to get us to 15 wins.” Apparently, he took his own advice, as he scored 15 first half points in his next outing, against Oklahoma State, including five three pointers in six attempts.
