Some things change and some things stay the same, but we can always be happy with a TCU win. For the second game in a row TCU and Kansas State were locked at 0-0 at the end of nine innings, and for the second game in a row the Frogs won with Luken Baker delivering the go-ahead RBI single in extra innings.
The lack of offense may have been the same, but after a pretty clean game yesterday there were plenty of missed opportunities for the Frogs to score today. TCU left 12 men on base and KSU’s starting pitcher, Parker Rigler, issued seven walks in his five innings of work.
