Darius Anderson named Walter Camp Player of the Week

Darius Anderson has put himself on the map.

TCU’s sophomore running back, who has been destroying defenses through the first month of the season, was named the Walter Camp National Player of the Week Sunday for his performance during TCU’s upset of the #6 Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Anderson had career highs on the ground and through the air in Saturday’s victory, going for 160 yards and three scores rushing, on 26 attempts (6.9 per rush) and catching four passes for 41 yards. On the season, he has already compiled 426 yards on 68 touches and six scores, and is averaging 6.
