TCU finds itself in the middle of the FBI college basketball corruption case once again.
Former sports agent Christian Dawkins, who has been found guilty of a pay-for-play scheme, was heard on wiretaps, according to CBS Sports, saying of the TCU basketball staff: “They’re all cheaters, his whole (expletive) staff.”
The university and coach Jamie Dixon have not responded to requests for comment.
Dawkins’ remarks reportedly were made in July 2017 in Las Vegas. That is where Dawkins allegedly paid former TCU assistant coach Corey Barker $6,000 to stir players toward his agency.
Barker was fired by the university when he refused to cooperate with an internal investigation.
