The Texas high school season is here, and that means players committed to area colleges are making noise on the field.

Here is a look at how commits for each school fared over the weekend.

Baylor

-- Trinity Christian Cedar Hill running back Qualan Jones, a three-star prospect, rushed for 58 yards in a 26-19 victory over Melissa. Jones left the game early due to a shoulder injury.

-- Prestonwood Christian safety Solomon Turner lined up at wide receiver and caught three passes for 15 yards in a 49-20 victory over Argyle Liberty Christian.
