No New Year's Six
A disappointing loss to Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game last Saturday put TCU's hopes of earning a New Year's Six bowl invite to rest. It would have been the Frogs' second appearance on New Year's in the College Football Playoff era after playing in the 2014 Peach Bowl against against Ole Miss. A 42-3 blowout win in that game secured TCU the third spot in the final AP poll of that season.
