Breaking down TCU football's 2019 recruiting class: The Horned Frogs' diamond in the rough, overall grade and more

TCU is finalizing another recruiting class, as the Horned Frogs signed five prospects on National Signing Day Wednesday morning, bringing the Class of 2019 head-count to 27 players.

As head coach Gary Patterson begins to shift the focus to the upcoming 2019 season, here are some thoughts on his 19th recruiting class since being named head coach in December 2000.

Head of Class: Max Duggan, QB

As the case in recent seasons at TCU, a quarterback is once again the prized possession in the school’s latest recruiting class. Duggan, one the few 4-star recruits to sign with TCU, was named the Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year last fall before inking his commitment during the early signing period in December and enrolling early in January.
