For the first time since December, TCU men's basketball is nowhere to be found in Joe Lunardi's projected NCAA tournament bracket.
Though idle on Wednesday night, the Horned Frogs (18-12, 6-11 Big 12) are officially on the outside looking in following the latest bracket updates at ESPN.com Thursday morning. TCU is now listed as the first team out of the field.
The Horned Frogs have been featured as high as a projected No. 6 seed this season after starting the 2018-19 campaign ranked No. 20 in the AP Top 25 poll. But a stretch of six losses in seven games, including an active three-game losing streak, has sent TCU from banking on a second consecutive March Madness appearance to facing a perilous situation entering the team's season finale at Texas on Saturday.
