SportsDay's college writers and bloggers are back with Best in Texas rankings, their pecking order for the 12 FBS teams in state. TCU held its preseason No. 1 ranking, by a unanimous vote this time. But rough season starts saw a shakeup for other Texas teams.
How does voting work? Writers cast one vote per team, ranking them from best to worst. The top team receives 12 points, the second team receives 11 points, the third gets 10 points, etc.
