Former TCU standout KaVontae Turpin had an assault charge dismissed by a New Mexico court on Thursday, a Las Cruces magistrate court clerk said.
Turpin pleaded down to a disorderly conduct charge stemming from a March 2018 incident with his girlfriend, Raiesha Atwater. He had faced three charges: disorderly conduct, assault and interference with a communications device.
