TCU will need to win its second elimination game in three days to stay alive in the College World Series.
The No. 6 Horned Frogs (48-17) play No. 7 Louisville (53-11) at 7 p.m. Thursday at Omaha's TD Ameritrade Park. The winner of the elimination game advances to face No. 3 Florida (49-18), which has already defeated both teams.
On Tuesday, TCU defeated Texas A&M 4-1 in an elimination game, marking the third straight season and the fourth time in six years the Horned Frogs have ended the Aggies' postseason run. Starting pitcher Brian Howard struck out 12 and allowed one earned run in seven innings.
